Revisions are done to both the plan and when the first build is finished. In most cases revision will be made as the website is built as well. This is a process that we believe is completely necessary for every website. When you contact us we immediately begin a consultation. We will email back and forth and talk over the phone or internet. We can have someone meet with you in person if you are in our geographical area as well. During this consultation a sales representative will need as much information about your company, your needs and your goals to understand exactly what you want. Whatever website material, including logos, advertising, banners, etc, should be presented during this time so we can plan to match and incorporate this material.
During the planning phases our team will put together a web development plan best suit to your needs. This plan will include details related to the website operation, colour schemes, layout, additional applications, and any additional recommended recurring services. You will receive this information with a quotation of the total project price. We will often recommend additional services or content as extras. These services are chosen based on your needs and is highly recommended to take them into consideration.
Revisions are made to the web development plan before you agree to continue. This is where you have the chance to add, change or remove services if they are not necessary. Once the revisions are complete and agreed upon you must send your approval of web development plan and down payment on the project before we can get started.
We will build a copy of the project on our test servers as a preview of our progress. You will be notified of completed portions of the project and give approval or revisions that need to be made. Once we have completed the items described in the web development plan we will issued a form for final revisions.
Any requested final revisions, additional work, and/or changes are performed. Permission to take the website or material live is then requested.
The final phase is completion, any material is launched live and operating. Any additional on going work begins, such as: search engine optimization, management services, hosting accounts, etc.
